AMS Athletics: Two changes have been made to the 7th grade Football schedule for the week. First, 7th grade football will travel to Savannah, MO tomorrow (9/19) and play a 2 quarter game with Savannah MS following the 8th grade game tomorrow. The half will start at approx. 6:30pm. Lastly, a game has been added with Troy MS for Thursday, Sept. 21st. This game will be played at Troy HS in Troy, KS starting at 6pm. All changes are reflected on the school athletics page.

The AMS 7th grade game vs. Patton JH has been cancelled due to low 7th grade numbers from Patton. One 8th grade game will still be played against Patton's combined 7/8 team. Kickoff is still 4:30pm at Amelia Earhart Stadium at Atchison High School.

💛 Brian's beginning his 20th year as a school psychologist.
💛 He moved to Atchison with his wife, Courtney, a Firefighter for Atchison, and 20-month-old daughter, Idalynn, from KC to raise her in a small town.
💛 A fun fact about Brian is he interviewed 20 years ago for 409 but couldn't see himself living in a small town, and now he's back!
💛 Brian is most excited about getting to know and work alongside the students, parents, and dedicated staff of USD 409.
