The AMS 7th grade game vs. Patton JH has been cancelled due to low 7th grade numbers from Patton. One 8th grade game will still be played against Patton's combined 7/8 team. Kickoff is still 4:30pm at Amelia Earhart Stadium at Atchison High School.

We will be running afternoon routes on Friday. Although the forecast "feels like" temperatures are a tad cooler due to lower humidity levels, it will still be hot. We encourage any of you who are able to pick up your student in order to shorten routes.

💛 Brian's beginning his 20th year as a school psychologist.
💛 He moved to Atchison with his wife, Courtney, a Firefighter for Atchison, and 20-month-old daughter, Idalynn, from KC to raise her in a small town.
💛 A fun fact about Brian is he interviewed 20 years ago for 409 but couldn't see himself living in a small town, and now he's back!
💛 Brian is most excited about getting to know and work alongside the students, parents, and dedicated staff of USD 409.

💛 He worked in Garden City, KS as an Assistant Principal/Activities Director for 2 years and for the past 8 years as the Transportation Director!
