Today was "Unity Day" at AES! National Unity Day, is a day founded by PACER's National Bullying Prevention Center to pledge to end bullying and wear orange!

9th and 10th graders at Central are investigating careers through Naviance. They are starting with their interest inventories and having some great conversations about what they are good at and how that matches with different jobs they might want after high school! #WeAte409

Congratulations to the AES Phoenix Five Reflective winners who showed:
I think about my learning.
I wonder what I did well, what I can improve on, and what I need to do differently.
I can embrace my accomplishments.
I can look back to see what worked and what didn’t.
I can learn from my mistakes.

AMS KAYS Club sponsors the KIND award. Each week students are nominated by their teachers when they are seen doing kind deeds. A random winner is drawn from those that are submitted. The student drawn gets a gift card for a free drink downtown at Yellowbrick. Thanks Yellowbrick for your support of AMS.
