📣 After 38 amazing years, Coach Jim Smith is retiring! 🎉 A proud AHS alum, Coach Smith dedicated his life to teaching, coaching, and shaping young lives with grit, heart, and passion. From Woodworking and Tech Ed to 40 years on the football field—27 as Head Coach—he's done it all. He also coached track, baseball, golf, and refereed basketball for 43 years! Coach always said, “I had the best job in Atchison,” and it’s clear he meant it. His legacy is one of commitment, community, and care. As he heads into retirement (and probably straight to the golf course ⛳), we thank him for everything he’s given to our students, school, and town. #WeAre409
