If you plan to attend the Atchison High School football game at F.L. Schlagle this evening (9/22), please be aware that Kansas City Kansas Public Schools has enacted a new bag policy at its athletic events.
"To increase security at KCKPS Varsity football games and to expedite entry, we are implementing the following bag policy on Friday September 22, 2023.
- no bags larger than 12" x 12" x 6" will be allowed
- exceptions will be made for medical purposes and diaper bags that accompany young children after proper inspection
- all items need to be easily visible
- NO backpacks will be allowed
- the use of clear bags is highly recommended"
