Communities That Care Survey

The Kansas Communities that Care Survey is conducted annually and anonymously with 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th graders. The survey provides valuable insights on the health risk behaviors and opinions of students in your county, district, and schools today.

The survey is provided by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services, Behavioral Health Services Commission and administered through Greenbush – The Southeast Kansas Education Service Center, Research and Evaluation Department.

Data gathered from this survey is aggregate data only for grades: 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th. No personally identifiable information is collected or stored.

The data is leveraged to detect and respond to social and behavioral trends among student populations, prompting the exploration of systems of support both in our district and the greater community.

Satchel Pulse

Satchel Pulse is a social emotional and skills survey given three times a year to students in grades K-8.  The survey give valuable insight on life skills of decision making, behavior regulation, and attitude towards others.

Satchel Pulse is an independent company.  Data is aggregated for grades K-8 and is used by administration, counselors, and teachers to develop curriculum for individual students, small groups, classroom, and grade level to individual help students develop the live skills necessary for success.
