Due to frigid temperatures tomorrow during the start of school, USD 409 will be on a 2-hour late start.

What does this mean for parents/students?

Buses will run two hours behind (e.g., if bus 29 usually stops at my bus stop at 6:55, it will now stop at 8:55 am)
Buildings will be open to accommodate students who must be dropped off at regular times.
A Grab and Go Breakfast will be available

What does this mean for staff?

Teachers will arrive two hours behind the scheduled time (e.g., My contract time is at 7:15. If there is a two-hour delay, my contract is 9:15 am).
Para's are allowed to report 2 hours behind schedule. However, paras are encouraged to come in at a normal time to help supervise students.
Admin and all other essential employees will report at normal time.
