Find out what's going on at your student's school anytime, anywhere! Through PowerSchool Parent Portal you can view your student's grades, attendance, teacher comments, read school announcements, and much more.
The Parent Single Sign-On feature offers a number of benefits, including:
• Access to multiple students with one login
• A personalized account for each parent and guardian
• The ability for parents to retrieve their own login information
The Parent Portal is available by launching a web browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, or Chrome) and typing info.usd409.net/public in the address bar. Before you can log in to PowerSchool Parent Portal, you will need to create your account and associate students to it. Your Access ID and Password can be obtained through your school office. You will need these to attach a student to your account. If you do not have this information for all of your students or have questions, contact your student's school secretary or Jenny Dryden, PowerSchool Administrator at 913.360.6506.
The main menu consists of several icons within the navigation bar and includes the following links:

Within the Parent Portal you will be able to access assignments in a given course, email a teacher and see dates of absences or tardies. By clicking anything printed in blue, you will be taken to another link. To send an email to a teacher, your web browser much be properly configured to automatically open and send an email application. Request Email Notifications be sent to you for your student's grades, assignments, attendance, or school announcements. You decide whether to receive notifications daily, weekly, or monthly.
