Read Across America

Atchison Elementary School and ANEA sponsored Read Across America (Cuddle Up with a Book and Read) on Friday, February 29th, in honor of Doctor Seuss.
AES students wore their pajamas and brought their favorite book to share with their class. During morning opening, the First Grade students sang Dr. Seuss We Love You!
The Cat in the Hat (aka Dr. Susan Myers) made an appearance. Guest readers shared their love of reading throughout the day.
