Keep up-to-date with iCals

November 04, 2007

MACWORLD EXPO, NEW YORK—July 17, 2002—Apple® introduced iCal, a new calendar program with built-in Internet sharing that lets business users, consumers and educators manage multiple calendars, share them over the Internet and automatically keep them updated.

Users can “publish” their iCal calendars on the web, so colleagues, friends and family members can “subscribe” and view them in iCal on their own Mac®. In addition, iCal can automatically check for updates to imported calendars on a regular basis, so shared calendars are always up to date.

“iCal lets you see all the calendars that make up your life,” said Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO.

For a while this year we had no current calendar on the USD409 web site now we have two different ways to access USD409 iCal (calendars).  The above calendar is part of the calendar function you can find by clicking on the button on the bottom left hand side of the screen "calendar"AHS Student, Scott Howard has come up with a neat little program that lists the iCals by category, AHS Sports, AMS Sports, Menus, District Information and AES Schedule.  To access iCals by category click on the button on the right hand side of the front page "New iCal Calendars."
